In 2001 embeX GmbH has been founded as a development house of embedded eXperts. Our team consists of more than 100 highly qualified engineers and scientists, who develop sophisticated embedded systems. The business units medical engineering, automation and avionics & transportation offer sector-specific competencies, customer orientation and long-term experience in handling of all relevant standards. Especially, the know-how of developing hardware and software for functionally safe and explosion-protected products is outstanding. embeX resigns to market own or third-party products for reasons of independency.
We offer the complete development of devices which comprises consulting, concept studies, development of electronic and mechanical modules including firmware and verification in our labs. Based on our long-term experience we optionally coordinate the certification and approval by UL, FDA, TÜV and other authorities and certified bodies. We support our customers concerning the declaration of conformity according to CE. For each step we supply all development-related documents required for the certification.
Optionally, we support the transfer to series, coordinate the series production and take care of the product maintenance as part of the product life-cycle management. All services can either be based on the established embeX processes and tools or the ones of our customers.
