Compumedics Germany GmbH was founded in 1991 as DWL Elektronische Systeme GmbH. Today, the company is one of the leading companies in the world in the development and production of ultrasound Doppler devices for application in diagnostics and monitoring. Doppler systems are used, for example, in the fields of neurology, anaesthesia, radiology and coloproctology. The company has implemented a quality assurance system to guarantee the control and monitoring of all organisational, commercial and technical activities. The company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485:2003 and annex II, paragraph 3 of the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC.
