The German Conference on Synthetic Biology 2024 (GCSB 2024) is set to take place in Regensburg, Germany from 18-20 September , 2024. This programme of the exciting event is jointly organized by the German Association for Synthetic Biology (GASB) and the Joint Subject Division on Synthetic Biology (Gemeinsame Fachgruppe Synthetische Biologie), a collaboration between DBG, DECHEMA, GBM, and GDCh.

The programme will feature current research from the diverse fields of synthetic biology:

·        biomedical applications

·        cell-free and bottom-up systems (protocells)

·        metabolic engineering

·        modelling (automation, data science, systems biology)

·        smart materials

·        solutions for sustainability

·        synthetic genomics and gene circuits
